Huge shout out to Antonio who was my server today! Dropped by during rush hour for dinner before going home. This chicken shop opened about a year ago and they have been killing the game with service and food. I decided to order the Leghorn chicken sando and Antonio gave me a free Mac and cheese side to try (I was skeptical - can't just try anyone's Mac and cheese). The sandwich is massive. fresh cut jalepenos and crispy Cole slaw matched with decently portioned chicken tenders that are crisp to perfection. What more could you ask for?! Do yourself a favor and get medium as a flavor. Hot is overwhelming and if it's your first time, you wouldn't be able to enjoy the goodness of the sandwich. The Mac and cheese is highly cheesy and gooey. It's thick and hearty. Definitely surprised me as a fast food restaurant but I surely enjoyed it. I am sure I will return and grab another item. If you're in the neighborhood, check this place out!

You know the food is good when there's only 5 star reviews! I'm so glad I finally got to try Chubby's Hot Chicken. It's a casual restaurant shop on Madison street that has a simple menu. I stopped by for a quick takeout order for lunch. Food came out really fast! I ordered the Foghorn Chicken Sandwich, which is Nashville style chicken with slaw and jalapeños. When looking at the sandwich, the chicken is massive! And, I've got to say that this is one of the best chicken sandwiches that I've tried in the Chicago area so far! The chicken is well fried yet so juicy. The Nashville seasoning gives a kick of spice added on with the flavors from the jalapeños and pickles. I was greatly surprised by Chubby's and definitely recommend! I'll be back for sure!
This is a small chicken establishment located in Forest Park, and it is by far one of the best chicken sandwiches I have had in Illinois. Interior and menu are straight and to the point. Nothing flashy, just a really great sandwich. Service was really quick as well since I came in the middle of the week around 1 pm, so I am not sure how busy things get here. I ordered the Fog Horn Chicken Sando, Nashville style, and it comes with jalapeños slaw, pickles, and a sauce on top. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and flavorful. The Nashville heat is definitely there blended in with the jalapeños slaw. The slaw is also very fresh and flavorful. Definitely compliments this style of sandwich. I highly recommend giving this place a try and making them your go-to chicken sandwich shop.
Stopped here on July 2nd and this place lives up the hype. Staff were super helpful with recommendations and the hot chicken was crispy and hot! The brioche bun was the perfect vessel for the chicken. Well def be back!
